Tourism and hospitality are among the industries that have been hit hardest by the Covid-19 crisis. Covid-19 aftershocks have affected travelers’ confidence to travel and reshaped mobility future. As a vital source for foreign currency , tourism and hospitality industry have potential to strengthen its supply chain, improve local productivity, local communities. As we envision the post Covid-19 world, reimagine the industry and think about growth during crisis are critical.
In this session, we are calling for papers that discuss how the future of tourism and hospitality is shaped, initiatives to build for better forward. We believe that the resilience of the industry requires innovation and collaboration between scholars and practitioners. In line with the overall theme of “Doing business in the new normal” papers that relate to and consider the approach of green, inclusive, and resilient to pursue sustainable tourism and hospitality are welcomed.
